Pindaya

Pindaya is located at an elevation of 1,180 meters above sea level. It’s a three-hour drive from Inle Lake. The town is home to the Danu and Pa-O ethnic groups, who continue to wear their traditional attire.

Pindaya is famous for the Shwe U Min Cave, a remarkable limestone cave temple housing an astonishing 8,094 Buddha images.
